Good morning!

I'm not much of a morning person but there's one person around our house that is! When his feet hit the ground he takes off running. (We have a new baby that is a wonderful sleeper but a toddler that isn't-go figure.) Bright and early this morning, I noticed Peyton doing a trick that Uncle Rick taught him this past weekend.

Parker's Dedicaton

Proverbs 22:6 "Train up a child in the way he should go, Even when he is old he will not depart from it."
This past Sunday we had baby dedication at our church. It seems like just yesterday we were up there with just Peyton. God has blessed our family so much. Here are some pictures from the day when we gave back to God what He has given to us. I'm so glad Jeana was able to get a picture of Poppy kissing Parker. How sweet! Both sets of my Grandparents came to church with us this special day. It was so neat to have Peyton and Parker's Great Grandparents with us. After church we had a big lunch at my Mom and Dad's.

Thanksgiving

Both of our families live here in town and Shiloh played at home on friday so luckily there was no travel involved this year. We had a great time visiting with friends and family and eating way to much good food. Thursday morning we went over to Ronnie and Jeana's. When Shiloh is in the play-off's over Thanksgiving week they have all the coaches and their familes over for lunch. We had a pot luck turkey lunch. It's a great Floyd family tradition. Then that afternoon we headed over to my parents house. There were 23 family members there and we had our 2nd turkey dinner with them . Many of them came in from out of town so it was nice to visit and introduce Parker to them. Friday night Shiloh played Lavaca. We won, 48-7! So this coming Friday we play at home against Bauxite. If we win that game we will play in the State championship game in Little Rock. Here are some pictures from our lunch at the Floyd's. I guess there were so many people at my parents I was too busy talking and eating that I forgot to take pictures.

Busy weekend

This weekend we had a lot happen. Some of Josh's family was in town from Texas and we had a great time hanging out with them. Friday night Shiloh won the 2nd round playoff game. Yea! This coming Friday we play at home against Lavaca. Saturday night we took Josh's cousin, Kristy, and her daughter, Macy, to the "Lights of the Ozark" parade on the square in Fayetteville. There were a ton of people there and we ran into a few people from our connection group and let the kids watch the parade together. The Christmas lights were beautiful. I'm sure we will go back a few more times. I remember going every year when I was growing up however, this was the first time for us to see the parade. Last but not least, this morning I was baptized. Our Lord is so faithful and I praise Him for all he is doing in my life! Here are some pictures of the boys with Kristy and Macy....and a car that looked like a razorback-ha!

Fall Family Pictures

Who looks like who?

Once you have kids everyone is always telling you who they think they look like. We get mixed opinions on who Peyton looks like but a majority say he looks like Josh. A few say he looks like my brother. (Josh and Rick really do look like they could be brothers, which is kinda weird to me.) Parker mainly gets the comment, "Wow, he doesn't look like Peyton!" (Peyton has dark brown eyes and his skin always looks like it's tan. Parker has beautiful blue eyes and fair complected.) Most say Parker looks like me. Anyway, I found this website and was curious to see what it thought. What do you think?

Buddies

This morning my good friend Erin brought her son, Easton, over to play while she took his sister to dance. Peyton loved having his buddy over. They pretended to play football and then "break" for half time and play in the band then go back to playing football. It was the cutest thing ever. They also enjoyed playing with the cars and train set. Thank you Easton for coming to play and thank you Erin for letting him keep my child entertained and Tim's pizza. :) I thought this was such a cute picture of them I just had to share it.

The picture above is Parker getting extra attention from the Kennedy kids. He loved it.

Conference Champs!

Shiloh won their conference last night! The score was 59-0. We are now # 1 seed in the play-offs. We are so proud of our Daddy/husband and love him so much. Way to go Saints!

Talking up a storm

Peyton said his first big (7 word) sentense this week! He's been talking for awhile now but it's like in the last couple of weeks it's really picked up and you can understand him more and more each day. It's like a switch has been turned on. The other day I went by Mom's house to pick up Parker's football outfit and she asked him, "Peyton, did you go to the football game last night?" He replied, "Ya, I went to the football game." He said it so clearly. Mom and I looked at each other and couldn't beleive how big he sounded. He normally would have just replied, "ya" or "no." I was proud of him saying a 7 word sentense, however the funny part was his first big sentense was actually a lie. We did not go to the Jr. High football game the night before that she was referring to. I guess I'll next have to teach him not to lie. Oh and by the way, he now can spell the first 3 letters of his name. You ask him how to spell Peyton and he says, "P E Y." We'll work on the rest later.
