Sweet Moment with Peyton

Friday night, before the Shiloh game, I met my parents for dinner at Market Place. When we were leaving my Mom asked Peyton if he wanted to ride in their car to the game because she had bought him a new booster seat. He was alittle hesitate because I wouldn't be riding in the car with him. (He's a big time Momma's boy!) Well, he finally decided he wanted to ride in the new booster seat in Nana & Grandaddy's car. As I was buckling him in, he looked at me and his sweet little voice said, "Momma, I'm scared but I will trust in the Lord with all my heart." I was in shock. He said it perfectly clear. I knew he learned that verse from Miss Jilly Bean at his preschool but I didn't think he would say it during the right time. Wow, the mind of a little boy who is barely three years old! I looked up at my Mom and she said in her sweet Nana voice, "Awe, he not only knows it but he knows when to apply it." I was so proud of my boy and pray that he will always hold God's promises close to his heart.
