Jack Bailey is Here

On June 8th we welcomed Jack Bailey Floyd into our family. He was 8 pounds, 12 ounces and 20 inches long, just perfect! I already can't imagine our family without this sweet little baby being a part of it. Peyton and Parker are beyond thrilled to have a their brother finally here. Peyton loves to hold him and Parker is on "paci patrol" all the time. He also gets plenty of hugs and kisses from them too. So far he has been an easy baby and I hoping it stays that way at least a little longer.

Here's Josh and I with Jack, just a few minutes old during the c-section.

Peyton and Parker surprised me with roses at the hospital....they were so sweet and it melted my heart.

Our new family of 5!

They were excited to finally get to hold Jack.

This is Mrs. Betty at the hospital seeing baby Jack for the first time. We named our Jack Bailey after her late husband. Coach Bailey was Josh's football coach in 6th and 7th grade. This man had great impact on Josh's life. He was one of the reasons Josh went into coaching football. We miss Coach Bailey but know we will see him again in heaven.

Getting Jack ready to come home.

This was taken a few days ago. He was getting over an eye infection that was in his right eye cause by a blocked tear duct. He is feeling all better now.

First time at Chickfila, watching his brothers play on the playground. I think it took me 3 hours before I actually got out the door with all three kids and Josh was even home to help me. But we made it. Ha!

All clean after his first bath.

This was taken yesterday. He is ready for some football!

Jack's new best friend was born just ten days after him, Charlie Barnard (on the right). He's the son of our good friends, Tucker and McKale. These boys are going to have to stick together since they are both the 3rd boys in each of their families.

I'm so blessed to have my boys in my life. It's a little crazy right now but I wouldn't trade it for anything!

Catching Up

I have taken alittle break from blogging for while. It just seems like we've been so busy and when I have a break then I just want to read everyone else's instead. :) Here are some pictures of what we've been up to since April with a baby update at the end.

California! We went with our good friends the Slaughters. It was a blast! The guys had meetings during most of our trip but Angela and I found LOTS of fun stuff to do while they were busy. Here's Josh and I in front of the Hollywood sign.
While we were in California Peyton had his end of the "Love Bug" program for K4. I hated to miss it but I was able to watch it live on the school's website. Peyton was in charge of the Christian flag pledge. He said his lines super fast but it got the job done and his Mama was proud. His teacher also presented him with the "hardworking" award at the end of the program. He's had a wonderful year at school and we have LOVED his teacher! I can't believe he's already completed his first year of K4 and how well he has done

My friends gave baby Jack and and I the sweetest baby shower at my sister in law's house. It was so much fun and Jack got so many cute things.
The shower was outside under the sunset on Meredith's new patio. It was perfect. I am so blessed to have these sweet girls as my friends.
Peyton attended Shiloh's youth football camp and had a ball! Parker didn't get to participate so he hung out by the water bottles and would give the older kids, high fives and knuckles during their water breaks. Poor guy, it's tough being the younger brother at times. This is Peyton waiting his turn to do one of the drills.
A few weeks ago Peyton's class had bike day at school. Savvy and Peyton were ready to take off riding in this picture.
Best buds taking a break for popsicles.
The very last day of school was last Thursday. It was Field Day so they had with lots of water activities for the kids. Here is Peyton all soaking wet having fun with water guns.

Parker also had a wonderful year at school! I can't believe how much he's change in the last year. His teachers put on a cute end of the year program for the parents. Here's Parker and cousin Reese singing their songs for us. They were precious! We are so proud of you Parker!!
Peyton skipped a few minutes of class to come watch his brother's program.
It's so hard to get a decent family picture these days with our two crazy boys but I'm sure it's about to get even harder when baby Jack comes along. At least everyone was looking at the camera, that hardly ever happens anymore.

Speaking of baby Jack. This coming Tuesday is my scheduled c-section! I am so excited and we are all very ready to meet him. It's been so fun listening to the the boys talk about having a baby in the house again. I can't wait to see what he will look like. Peyton and Parker looked nothing a like when they were born. My doctors have told me they are surprised that he still isn't here. They were predicting that he would be here by my 37th week due to his big size, being a third child and having a previous brother born at 36 weeks. However, Jack has been holding out to make his grand entrance into the world in God's perfect timing. Check back soon for more baby updates and pictures!

Happy 30th Birthday Josh!!

I know I've been slacking on my blog lately but I couldn't miss posting about Josh's big birthday. He turns 30 today but we started celebrated it last night. I surprised him with a dinner at Noodles with his closest friends and family. I'm so glad that we were all able to pull it off together and actually be able to surprise him! He had no idea everyone was going to be there until we showed up at the restaurant. It was a fun night out. Tonight we will celebrate again, this time with our boys. They are SO excited about their Daddy's birthday today.

Josh, I am so blessed to have you as my husband and my best friend. I'm thankful to God placing you in my life. Thank you for ALL you do for the kids and I. We are so proud of you. Happy 30th Birthday babe! I love you more than you'll ever know!!

Below are some pictures from last night.

We missed Jeana, Josh's Mom, at the party because she is caring for her Mom in Texas this week who just had surgery. Please be in prayer for Josh's grandma.

Happy Easter 2010

We had a wonderful weekend celebrating Easter with our family. Saturday night we dyed Easter eggs and made a bunny cake with the boys. They made such a mess but they were having fun.
Sunday morning they woke up to their baskets filled with candy from the Easter bunny.
Next we went outside to hunt for eggs. Yes, Parker has a sucker in his mouth before 7:30am. I promise we normally don't allow candy in the morning but today I decided I wouldn't fight the battle. I also realize my kids clothes look hideous, but when at home we let them pick their own outfits for the most part.
We then got cleaned up and ready for church. It was a fabulous service! Here's all three of my boys before church.
Here's my next baby boy that's on the way. Parker was protesting the picture at this point. I am definitely feeling very pregnant these days and having lots of braxton hicks contractions. But for the most part I feel pretty good. I think we may have a wild one on our hands. This baby is constantly kicking and moving around ALL the time.
After church we went to my parents house for a wonderful lunch. Dad smoked a brisket for us and it was so good!
We were happy that Josh's parents and Nick's family were able to join us too! It's hard to get a decent picture with three hungry kids. Baby Beckham was taking a nap and didn't make this picture. Notice Peyton in the back giving the hookem' horn sign for Texas. We have never lived Texas but Josh's family is from there and taught our boys to love Texas. Don't worry the Razorbacks are still their #1 team. ;)
My brother, Rick, was also with us today too. They love their Uncle Rick!
Josh and Meredith helping the kids hunt Easter eggs at my parent's house.
After the egg hunt they played their little hearts out on the swing set.
Hope you all had a Happy Easter with your family and friends. And remember the real reason we celebrate today, He is RISEN! I'm so thankful for the cross and that He is ALIVE.

Good Night from Peyton & Parker

(3/24/10 UPDATE: The boys are doing good in their new beds and we are all getting sleep at night. PTL! Peyton sleeps on the top bunk and Parker sleeps down below. The only downfall is they like to talk and laugh together before falling asleep. But at least they're happy and eventually fall asleep at a decent time. The first night Parker cried for a few minutes for his crib but after being reassured he's a big boy, he went on to sleep and hasn't mentioned the crib since that night. Sooner or later I'm sure they may have a rough night but for now all is well with this new sleeping arrangement.)

To make room for baby #3 we are now letting the boys share a room. Their new bunk beds and bedding arrived today and they are beyond thrilled! It should be an interesting night since they have never slept in the same room together and Parker's never been without his crib. Right now I'm hearing lots of giggling coming from their room. When we moved Peyton to his big boy bed it was a disaster so I'm preparing for the worst. Please Lord, let this 7 month pregnant Mom get some sleep this week.

Catching Up

Here are just a few things that we have been up to in the last week.

Peyton's been asking us to join him for lunch at school so I packed Parker's lunchbox and we headed up to Shiloh to meet Peyton and Josh. Parker always feels so big when he gets to see "Bubba's friends." These days, it's almost impossible to take a picture with them together without them making silly faces. I had really hoped for a much better picture this day. Maybe next time.
A couple days ago, Parker and I had lunch with some of my girlfriends at Jason's Deli. We get together about once a month and can have some girl time even with all our silly kids at the table. Here is Kelly, Harper, Ashley, Avery, Melissa, Julee, Jennifer and Brody. These are some of the sweetest girls you will ever meet.
Today, it was about 70 degrees outside. Parker insisted wearing this tank top all day which actually matched his shorts. He is really into dressing himself these days and I let him unless we are leaving the house. I could do a whole post on all his crazy mismatching outfits. But you gotta love him and this smile.
Peyton has learned to swing by himself. Here he is showing off his new skill in his favorite shirt that he thinks he has to wear everyday. I don't think I will be passing this striped shirt down to Parker just because I am so tired of seeing it.
Before we headed to Chick-fil-a today, I caught this child using the bathroom outside on a yellow painted line in our grass. I'm not sure why he thought it was necessary to take his underwear and shorts completely off but I guess this works. I'm so glad Parker is finally potty trained and I won't have two in diapers when #3 baby arrives. We're proud of you Parkerman!

It looks like tomorrow is going to be nice outside again and we're looking forward to enjoying the sunshine with Josh. Enjoy your weekend!

Snow Days

Over the past few days we have been enjoying all the snow. On Saturday, we took the boys sledding. My Dad brought over the sled that my brother and I used when we were kids. Rick and Jessica joined us that day too.

My 3 boys!

They love their Uncle Rick and their soon to be 'Aunt' Jessica.

Parker's never scared to do anything by himself, including sledding down a hill with a hat covering his eyes.

Thanks again Grandaddy for bringing the sled! Especially since my laundry basket idea really wasn't working.
After being outside all morning, we all ate lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings. We missed Nana, she was at work while we were all out playing. Later that day, Peyton and I made Snow Ice Cream. I remember making this when I was a child and it being so fun and easy to do. Here's Peyton in the kitchen helping. He thought this was the neatest idea ever. However, once he tasted it he said he would rather eat the normal kind of ice cream.
A little later Parker woke up from his nap and tried some. He loved it and had two bowls of it.

We enjoyed our lazy days around here but I think we are all ready for a normal schedule again. Josh and Peyton will both go back to school tomorrow. And Parker and I will get back to do our normal things too.
