M&M's anyone?

Last night when we came home from the Pet Store, Poppy had a surprised Peyton and set this up in his room, 24 cartons, 30 bags, and a candy dispenser of M&M's,! Peyton does absolutely L-O-V-E M&M's but what are we going to do with all this? If you need any M&M's let us know because we have a life time supply at our house. Ha! This is what all our trick or treaters will be getting this year. Thanks Poppy & your friend from MARS candy, you made Peyton's day. Poppy is always very creative when giving gifts.

Peyton Elliott is Three

Today we celebrated Peyton's third birthday. It started out with a trip to the doughnut shop, then off to KDO. He brought some cupcakes he help make to share with his friends. They sang Happy Birthday twice during the day for him. Then this afternoon I took him to watch his favorite thing, Daddy's football practice. We then went on to dinner at the food court (one of his favorite places to eat) and got a cookie from the mall. On the way home, we surprised him and took him to the Pet Store and let him pick out a fish. He of course was very orignal and named him Nemo. It was a pretty exciting day in the mind of a three year old.

Happy birthday! You have brought so much joy into our lives. I couldn't imagine my life without you. It seems just like yesterday that you were my "little tiny baby" as you would say. You are a true blessing and I am so glad that I am your Momma. Thank you for keeping us laughing everyday. You are so special and I can't wait to see what God has in store for your life. Your Daddy and I love you soooo much...more than you will ever know!

Thursday Night Football

Tonight during Shiloh's Jr. High game I took these pictures with GiGi's phone. It was the perfect weather to be sitting outside talking with friends and enjoying some football. Of course it's was mainly perfect because we won! Go Jr. High Saints!

My sneaky little boy

This morning while I was getting Peyton ready for KDO I noticed the house seemed a lot quieter than we are used to around here. I called out for Parker and I didn't hear an "eh" like I normally would from him. Then I heard a faint noise coming from the laundry room. When I opened the door this is what I found...a sneaky little boy that was enjoying some Goldfish crackers from the pantry.

This all happend after he had eaten 2 cereal bars for breakfast. I guess since he had the stomach bug all weekend he was trying to get caught up on the all the food he had missed out on.

Baby Eli & girl's night

After I picked the boys up from KDO on Thursday, Blaire brought baby Eli over. They loved having "baby Lee-li", as Peyton calls him, at their house. He's such a sweet baby and SO adorable! Look how long he already is at only 3 weeks old. I think he's going to have Caleb's height for sure!

After staying at the house for a bit we all loaded up and met McKale, Carter and Courtney at P.F. Changs. (We missed you Laci.) I'm so blessed to have these fun girls to hang out with while our husbands are working so much during this time of year. We were going to go to Shiloh's Jr. High game after dinner but since it started raining we decided to stay in Rogers and shop while our hubby's were still coaching. I found some cute things at Gymboree including some cowboy boots to give to Peyton for his birthday next week. I can't believe he's almost three! Three just dosen't sound so little to me.

Trust in the Lord & Squeaker Shoes

Today Peyton went to KDO. His teacher told me he only cried for 5 minutes when I dropped him off instead of the 30 that he did last week. He went on to have a wonderful day playing with his friends. He even came home with the Super Star Award for today. When we were on our way home, I asked him what was his favorite part of school and he said playing with blocks. Then I went on and asked him what he learned today and he said, "Trust in the Lord." I was so proud he actually told me something he learned. Normally he just tells me the activities he did. I pray he will always remember to trust in the Lord no matter what may happen in life.

On another note, GiGi bought Parker his first pair of Squeaker Shoes. They are so cute! We found them at Monday's Child today. Good thing the squeaker can come out of the shoe. I can see where they might get annoying. Peyton thought these shoes were hilarious when we tried them on this afternoon.

Okay, I had to put the video that is below on here because it's funny. I promise he wasn't hurt although I think this could be the start of a law suit against the new shoes. I do know an awesome lawyer in town. J/K.

Bye Bye Bottle

Parker learning to drink from a sippy cup a couple months ago.

I relieze what I am about to say does not always end up being so easy. Two years ago, it was Peyton's turn to drop the bottle and he had many temper trantrums that week. I had been dreading when it would be Parker's turn. However, things were totally different this time around...

Parker has not had a bottle in three days and acts like nothing ever went missing from his life. I had been weaning him slowly away from formula and the bottle for awhile. We were down to two bottles a day, morning and night with whole milk, not formula. Then all the sudden he started refusing his bedtime bottle. He would push it away from his face and reach for his paci and night-night (aka: blanket). So since that night we have been bottle free at our house. No more washing them, packing it in the diaper bag or trying to heat it while on the go. We are offically a sippy cup only household. PTL!
